Step 1: cut out a 30x30 cm square and draw a shape of an ice cream with a pencil.

Step 2: cut it out and repeat step 1 to get another ice cream shape.

Step 3: cut out two 11 cm long rectangles and glue them onto the cardboards to create the popsicle stick.

Step 4: cut 7 cm width strips out of thick paper and tape them around the cardboard shapes.

Step 5: before closing your piñata, don’t forget to fill it with sweets and candy. Tape on the second part of the ice cream.

Step 6: cut the fringes out of the crepe paper rolls.

Step 7: roll the fringes upwards around the piñata, leaving an empty part on the top.

Step 8: repeat steps 6 and 7 with crepe paper of a different colour to cover the rest of the piñata.

Step 9: similarly, use white crepe paper to cover the popsicle stick.

Step 10: in order to hang up the piñata, pass a sewing thread by using a needle through the cardboard and make a knot.
