They help Father Christmas to get everything ready for December 25th, here are his 3 little helpers!

Your little ones can create these mischievous elves with pine cones and a few accessories!

Christmas elf DIY

For this DIY, you will need:

  • 3 pine cones
  • 3 little polystyrene balls (or table tennis ball)
  • 3 sheets of felt (of different colours)
  • 3 little pompoms
  • string
  • thread
  • a needle
  • a pair of scissors
  • and… strong glue

Christmas elf DIY
Step 1: cut a quarter of a disc in felt to make the hats. Here, both sides of the cone are 7 cm long. Repeat this step 3 times in different colours.

Step 2: sew the edges of the cone together to create a pointy hat.

Step 3: glue the hat to the polystyrene little ball. Then, cut mittens in felt.

Step 4: glue the mittens to a thread and tie the thread around the pine cone scales.

Step 5: glue the head to the pine cones.

Step 6: glue a little pompom on the top of each hat.
