Step 1: outline the ukulele template and all of its details on some tracing paper.

Step 2: transpose three times the shape of the ukulele's handle on the thick cardboard.

Step 3: cut out the three handles and put them aside.

Step 4: transpose the outlines of the ukulele's body once on thick cardboard.

Step 5: then, cut it out.

Step 6: outline the ukulele's body once more but with the hole, this time.

Step 7: and cut it out by following the outlines.

Step 8: finally, ouline the body one last time, with the hole and the decorations.

Step 10: paint one of the three handles and glue them all on top of the others to make only one handle.

Step 11: decorate your ukulele with some paint by following the template. Then, glue the painted one on top of the second one which has a hole.

Step 12: cut two pieces of skewers, to have one of 6,5cm and one of 4cm long.

Step 13: glue the 4cm stick at the top of the ukulele's handle.

Step 14: and glue the 6,5 cm one underneath the hole.

Step 15: using the pointy side of a skewer, punch holes in the handle, higher than the glued stick.

Step 16: punch four holes to inser the strings.

Step 17: punch four other holes with your skewer underneath the 6,5cm stick.

Step 18: glue the handle and body together.

Step 19: knot four scoubidou strings to a paper clip.

Step 20: fasten it at the back of the handle and insert the scoubidou strings in the holes towards the front.

Step 21: stretch the scoubidou strings and insert them in the lower holes and fasten them to another paper clip.

Step 22: glue the handle and the body that are left on top of the other back layers. Strenghen the ukulele by glueing one more cardboard strip between the handle and the body.
